A canoe trip on the Tuki Tuki River

During the Easter school break, we went canoeing on the Tuki Tuki River, which flows northwards and empties into Hawkes Bay along the North Island's east coast. We paddled 20 kilometers (14 miles) in five hours, and enjoyed a beautiful autumn day on the river, with Mike, Martha and Kelly in our Old Town canoe and Patrick accompanying us in a kayak. It was great !
